6 months

Adan's 6 months appointment was on the 25th. He's really growing! He weighs 19 pounds and is 27 inches tall. He's got 3 teeth and one on the way. All bottom teeth! The doctor says he's off the charts developmentally and he is very impressed with everything he can do.
We took our 6 month pictures today. I just can't believe how big he's getting!

Beautiful day out and a new TOOTH!!

It was SOOOOO pretty today, so Adan and I took a blankie outside to play with toys. He started laughing at me making faces and I saw another tooth! That's number 3 for him- and it's right next to the first two that came in. So much for the theory that the next one would be on the top!

He said MOMMA!!

Ok, so maybe, just MAYBE it was an accident, but I'm not so sure. I'm always saying "momma, momma, momma, momma..." to Adan. I know he's too young to say it back, but I think that if I keep saying it, one day he will too.

Anyway- I had just put him in his car seat and went around to the other side to put my bags in the back seat. When I opened the door to that side, he looked over at me with BIG eyes and said "Mom-ma" as clear as day. That was all he said, then he smiled. I was in shock and just looked at him. Finally I clapped and said "YAYYY Adan!! You said MOMMA!!" He laughed and picked up his toy and put it in his mouth.

He sure does know how to make mommy proud!

Friday,Saturday and Sunday

On Friday we took Adan to Galveston Island. What a BEAUTIFUL place!! We went to Moody Gardens. Inside is a wonderful aquarium and even a rain forest! Adan LOVED the seals. His eyes got so big when they swam up to the front of the aquarium. We had alot of fun too and plan on going back at the end of the month.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday we went to Pearl River for Maw's birthday. She turned 88!! Adan was passed around again and I think he enjoyed every minute. We also got to see Leslie, Brian, Carly, Devin and Brice! Adan got to meet Carly for the first time, too.

We had alot of fun and can't wait to go back!
