Weekend fun!!

On the 22nd of June, we went to Slidell for Kaya's birthday party. We stayed a night at the LaQuinta Inn the first night. Adan did very well. He slept all night and had a great ride down. On the 23rd we went to Kaya's birthday at the theater. Everyone wanted to love on him and I think he really enjoyed it! Within a few hours, he was knocked out from all the excitement. It was a very nice party. After the party, we headed to Florida to stay a couple of days with mom. Again, Adan did very well on the trip. He loved playing with his Baby Einstein toy. He keeps pushing the button with his foot to make it sing and light up. It's really cute. We hung out at mom's for awhile. While we were outside we came across a HUGE black snake. Luckily we both went our separate ways. We went to the beach and Adan had his first encounter with the Ocean. Besides the little wave accident, he seemed to really like it. He kept playing with the sand and every time the water would touch his toes, he'd smile. We stayed with mom for 2 nights. We came home on Monday, and stopped by the USS Alabama. I'd not been there in about 20 years! Miguel seemed impressed, but man it was so hot. We were on our way pretty quickly. We stopped at Maw's on the way home so she could see Adan again. He was all smiles for her. We got home late Monday night, but the drive was worth it. Adan did very well and seemed to enjoy his trip and visits with his maw-maw, aunt and cousin. Ollie made the trip with us. I think he was happy to be out of the house. :0)

Three months old today!!

Adan is 3 months old today. I can't believe how fast he's grown. We went to lunch with Miguel and then for a walk this evening. Here are some pictures of him and his giraffe and his best friend, Ollie. There are also some comparison pictures of him in his swing- the first is when he was almost two months old (May 14) and in the second he is almost three months old (June 14).
