Someone sent this to me today. I thought it was SO funny and just had to share.

Adan has found his feet. He loves to chew on his toes as much as his hands! Also here is a video of him in his walker. He's just started walking forward in it. The problem is, as soon as he sees you looking at him, he stops and grins. He's such a goober!!

I look at him sometimes and just can't believe this is the same little munchkin I brought home from the hospital. He's becoming such a little man!

And MAN did he love them. We tried peaches a few days ago, but he wasn't having it. He tore into the green beans, though. He took the spoon out of my hand and went to town.

What I wake up to every morning

When Adan wakes up, he always has a HUGE smile on his face. He likes to sing in the morning with me and he LOVES to "talk." It makes waking up every morning such a treat for me. I love this baby more and more every day.

FOUR months old!!

Adan turned 4 months old on Wednesday, the 18th. He's getting so big and doing so many new things. He's more and more fun every day. Things that he does now include:

• Laughing in 2 or 3 syllables. It's so cute. He's going from ha to hahaha.
  
• Blowing bubbles and and making a motor sound with his lips
• He's found his voice and is experimenting with different inflections- including a laughing scream LOL
• He's alot more mobile in his walker. He can walk backwards anywhere in the house
• He's grabbing for everything now- toys, food, Ollie, EVERYTHING!
  

We went to our friends' house today, Renee and Tom, across the street, to swim. They have a beautiful pool and I thought it'd be nice for Adan to have his first real swim experience. At first he wasn't really sure what to make of this very large and cooler-than-normal bathtub, but I think after a few minutes he started to have fun. In this video, Renee is holding him first, then Miguel.

4th of July

For the fourth, Adan, Miguel and I went to the mall to shop and have lunch. Besides a run-in with a very rude and obnoxious woman, we had a very good time. After the mall, we bought fireworks and headed home. I made hamburgers for dinner thenwe got together with our neighbors across the street and watched fireworks. Of course, this was Adan's first time and he did really well. With the pretty, noiseless ones, his eyes got really wide and he started smiling. Then there were some that were pretty but noisy. He did the funniest thing. He turned his head away from the noise, but was still trying to turn his eyes to the sparkles. It was so funny. He didn't cry at all and thankfully it was nice out - not too hot and not too many mosquitoes. Adan was dressed in a long-sleeve pants onsie and was also covered in Skin So Soft just in case.

We had a great time!

A day of firsts!

Yesterday Adan had a busy day. For the first time, I actually made it through a full church service. He enjoyed the singing then fell asleep during the sermon. Later in the day, he took a nap all on his own in his pack n play. Also, later in the day, he picked up a toy for the first time and put it in his mouth. He was also in his little walker and took a few accidental steps backward :0)
